Kenojuak Ashevak (1927-2013) is one of the most renowned inuit artists. In 1958 she produced her first print, and since then she created thousands of stonecuts prints, etchings and drawings. Her work has a stronge sense of composition and color.
I knew Christina Vantzou because of her drawings, but sounds has become a key aspect of her work. After touring with Sparklehorse she started making her own music with synths and samples. Then she translated the digital score to sheet music for an ensemble. This original video is a fragment of the result.
